REGISTRATION

Please bring a hard or electronic copy of your ticket to the event. Registration opens at 8 a.m. at the registration desk located just inside the main entrance to the ETH Zurich main building on Rämistrasse 101. For speakers and guests arriving later than 10 a.m., please proceed via the stairs/elevators to the F level and room 33.5 (also the cloak room) to register. There will be signs available to direct you to the right location. All sessions will take place in the Audimax centrally located on the F level of the ETH Zurich main building, just outside of the elevators.

SPEAKERS/PRESS REGISTRATION

Speakers and members of the press will also pick up their name tags at specially designated areas of the registration desk. Press may coordinate interviews with speakers with marianne.lucien@hk.ethz.ch.

LIVESTREAM / PHOTOGRAPHY

The Global Talent Summit is a public event and will be livestreamed globally. Please understand that while the camera(s) will focus primarily on the speakers, there may be occasions when guests may be visible on the livestream and/or in photos taken during the event. We kindly notify you in advance.

PARKING

Limited parking is available in the ETH Zurich parking garage (entrance via Karl-Schmid-Strasse) and in the adjacent University hospital parking area. You will need to purchase a parking ticket from the ticket machine. Speakers may contact Christina van Lighten for a parking pass in advance or obtain a pass at the registration desk: christina.vanligten@sl.ethz.ch.

DIRECTIONS

ETH Zurich is located at Rämistrasse 101, 8092 Zürich, Switzerland. Public transportation is highly recommended. Traveling by public transport From the “Zürich Bahnhofstrasse/HB” stop: Tram no. 6 (towards the Zoo) as far as the “ETH/Universitätsspital” stop. Journey time: approx. 6 minutes. From the “Zürich Bahnhofplatz/HB” stop: Tram no. 10 (towards the Airport or Oerlikon station) as far as the “ETH/Universitätsspital” stop or Tram Nr. 3 (towards Klusplatz) as far as the “Central” stop (1 stop), from “Central” by Polybahn (departs every three minutes) to the Polyterrasse. Journey time: approx. 8 minutes. You will require a ticket that is valid for zone 110 (city of Zurich).

FROM ZURICH AIRPORT

By tram: From the “Zurich Airport” tram stop Tram no. 10 (towards Bahnhofplatz/HB) as far as the “ETH/Universitätsspital” stop. The tram runs every 7 to 15 minutes between 6 o’clock in the morning and 11 o’clock at night. Journey time: 30 minutes. By rail: If you wish to travel from the airport to the city centre (Central Station), you are recommended to use the S-Bahn or mainline services. The trains depart from the “Zurich Airport” station. Journey time: approx. 10 minutes. You will require a ticket valid for 3 zones. If you are spending the whole day in Zurich, it is worth buying a day pass (valid for 24 hours). A 24h ticket costs only twice as much as a regular one-way ticket.
